Last week I had the pleasure of attending the 39th Annual Conference of the Australasian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ASAPS) on the Gold Coast. It was a fantastic opportunity to meet and hear from some of my senior overseas colleagues, who shared their insights and experiences with facial and breast surgery. It was also an opportune time to discuss refinements to my surgery with my Australian colleagues.
Specifically I gained some new insights into facelift surgery, particularly some new surgical methods in eyelid surgery, and discovered ways to refine my technique in breast implant and male gynecomastia surgery.

Debbie, our Practice Manager, also attended the Practice Managers’ conference, which she found invaluable. It was wonderful for her to connect with colleagues working in similar roles and share their experience and learnings, all of which will contribute to enriching the patient experience at the Eden Institute.
Both Debbie and I also had a chance to look at and new products available in the cosmetic market – surgical and non-surgical – that may be of value for our patients.
