Rhinoplasty or ‘Nose Job’ Surgery is one of the most popular Cosmetic Plastic Surgery Procedures and many patients pursue it for various reasons.
Whilst the cosmetic goal is often perceived to be most prevalent, many patients also look to Rhinoplasty for medical reasons. A condition called Deviated Septum for example, means that people can only breathe through one nostril. Some people are born with this condition whilst others may attain it from an accident. This can be corrected through a procedure called Septoplasty however Rhinoplasty is often performed in conjunction for cosmetic correction of any bumps and deformities.
A broken nose is also a common reason behind some patient’s desire to have Nose Job Surgery. Whether it’s through accidents or from playing sports, a broken nose is more common than you think and Rhinoplasty may be appropriate to correct the resulting functional and cosmetic abnormality.
When it comes to cosmetic reasons, a Nose Job procedure can be highly tailored to cater to each patient’s individual needs. Many patients come to Dr Edinburg with a strong desire for a nose that makes their face look more attractive and in balance with their other features.
Are you seeing more puffiness in your eyes? Are you noticing more loose skin and fine lines near the corners of your eyes? Some hollowing in the tear troughs? Protruding under-eye bags that make you look like you haven’t slept in years even though that’s not really the case?
Our eyes are such a prominent feature on our face and often viewed directly during conversation and interaction with others. So many patients come to Eden Institute with a variety of eye complaints, including the conditions mentioned above.
One of the key concerns from our patients is their frustration with puffy or swollen eyes along with saggy, droopy eyelids – all appearance indicators that can make someone look much older than they feel. It’s also something that can’t be “fixed” so easily with topical skin care products or even concealed with makeup.
As 2014 draws to a close, there are many wide-circulating predictions going around on what the most popular Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery trends in 2015 will be.
“Interest in plastic and cosmetic procedures is on the rise, there’s no doubt about it and of course advanced technology and techniques play a role in this surge in demand. At Eden Institute, I don’t base my practice on the latest trends or marketing hype however it is interesting to see what more patients are thinking about and how different factors or pop culture is influencing customer perception, desires and decision-making,” says Dr Edinburg.
Here are our thoughts on the following trend predictions…
