Monthly Archives: December 2014
We all have a desire to update our look every now and again, be it natural or more dramatic. But, sometimes, a change of hair colour and style, isn’t enough for us and we feel that there are other nagging issues we would like attended to.
Is 2015 the year for a fresh look but you’re not ready to have a Face Lift? Are you also short on time so can’t take much time off? If so, the Eden MediSpa provides a comprehensive suite of non-surgical facial rejuvenation procedures to refresh your face.
Advanced skin analysis, medical-grade skincare & laser, injectable fillers and wrinkle relaxers are indicated, depending on the nature of the skin issue.
As 2014 comes to an end, Dr Edinburg and the team at The Eden Institute would like to thank you all for your support throughout the year. We hope you have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Here at Eden, this is how we’ve been celebrating ahead of the festive season…
“At Eden, I have patients coming in to see me all the time for various reasons. Some want to look a little younger on their face; some want to enhance their breasts or give it a lift, others want to get rid of excess fat on their tummy etc. More often than not, patients usually have more than one concern and are open to having combination surgery.
For example, this lovely patient below (42 years old) came to me one year ago looking for potential solutions to a variety of concerns she had. She wanted to enhance her breasts, flatten her abdominal region and also improve the look of her aged eyes. As a result, I recommended Blepharoplasty (Eyelid Rejuvenation), Breast Augmentation and a Mini Tummy Tuck Surgery. The patient was very pleased with her outcomes and as you can see below, even the photos at 6 weeks post-surgery looked great. She has just come back one year later to get her updated “after surgery” photos taken and the results have been well-maintained.
Obviously depending on the patient, I will advise accordingly on whether or not this is a viable approach. Most of the time it’s fine and can produce fantastic results in transforming your look. ” – Dr Edinburg
When you think of Plastic Surgery, people often tend to associate it with women looking for procedures for cosmetic reasons. But did you know that Plastic Surgery for Men is also on the rise?
Specifically, Eye Lifts are proving to be more than just a cosmetic procedure. As you age, some people become increasingly concerned over the development of sagging and loose skin near the eyes, foreheads and brows.
We all dream of turning back the clock however navigating through the world of anti-ageing measures can be tricky for many. Most of our patients are interested in addressing common changes that take place in the face and neck as we age – loss of volume, sagging skin and textural changes of the skin – but unsure where to start and what procedures are best suited to their concerns.
Thanks to technology and advances in the types of treatments on offer, there is more rejuvenation options available today than ever before. Whilst this is good news, in turn it can also be very overwhelming for you, the customer.
This is where we step in to help you. At Eden Institute, our goal is to help our patient’s look and feel better with customised treatment plans that produce natural-looking results.
Here are five ways to look younger now.
PLASTIC SURGERY TRENDS 2014
Every year we promise ourselves that we will change bad habits and become a better person – but we don’t always stick to these empty promises. The year 2014 is time for a new you, inside and out. Plastic Surgery is high on New Year’s resolutions as the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery (ACCS) reports a third of all cosmetic surgery is booked in the lead up to summer.
Australians are now spending as much as $AU1 billion annually on appearance medicine! The ACCS reports that the most popular procedures are Wrinkle Relaxers, Fillers, Breast Augmentation, Lifts, Liposuction, Microdermabrasion, Laser Resurfacing of Skin and Eye Surgery.
At the Eden Institute, we also forecast the continual growth of the following Plastic Surgery procedures…
The perfect breasts can mean something different to every woman. We all share different perceptions on what classifies as the “ideal breast” however in most cases, women are looking to achieve that uplifted, perky and youthful look, whether you’re a size A or a double D.
Our breast tissue and elasticity can be affected through pregnancy or ageing – this in turn causes changes to the appearance of our breasts. Or maybe it’s just what nature and your genetics have delivered to you. Concerns like lack of fullness, loss of volume, too little cleavage or breasts that appear too heavy are common amongst the patients that come to the Eden Institute.
From augmentations to reductions and lifts, here we give you the lowdown on the various options you have for achieving beautiful breasts.
